Multiple Learning Methods: Nevaani incorporates diverse learning approaches to meet the needs of different learners. These methods include:
Grammar-Translation Method (GTM): Translating sentences between Hindi and English to understand grammar.
Guided Self-Review (GSR): Encouraging self-reflection and review to reinforce knowledge.
Sentence Mining: Learning through real-world sentence examples.
Transformation and Substitution: Modifying sentence structures to improve language fluency.
Microlearning: Breaking down lessons into small, manageable segments for efficient learning.
One-on-One Tutoring Sessions: Users can book 25-minute or 50-minute sessions with tutors to receive personalized guidance, covering topics such as grammar, pronunciation, and conversation practice.
Tandem Language Practice: The Tandem Method allows learners to engage in conversational practice with native speakers. Certifications: Upon completing levels and assessments, learners can obtain certifications that recognize their proficiency in Hindi.
Nevaani offers a variety of subscription-based plans, including access to lessons, one-on-one tutoring, doubt resolution, and practice sessions with native speakers. The platform also includes a 14-day free trial, allowing users to explore limited content before subscribing.
1.2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Nevaani platform (the "Website"), you (the "User") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). These Terms govern your use of all services provided on the platform, including but not limited to interactive lessons, worksheets, one-on-one tutoring sessions, cultural content, and any other features or services offered on Nevaani.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must discontinue using the Website immediately. Your continued access to and use of the Website after any changes to the Terms have been made will signify your acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.

Platform
"Platform" refers to the Nevaani online language learning website and associated services, including, but not limited to, all content, features, tools, and functionalities offered through www.nevaani.com or any subdomains. This includes access to lessons, worksheets, quizzes, cultural content, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and any other educational services or features offered by Nevaani.
User
"User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether registered or unregistered. This term applies to learners, parents or legal guardians registering on behalf of minors, and anyone interacting with the content or services provided by Nevaani.
Account
"Account" refers to the personal, password-protected profile created by a User when registering on the Platform. An Account allows Users to access and use Nevaani’s services, including the ability to save progress, purchase subscription plans, participate in lessons, and schedule one-on-one tutoring sessions. Each Account must be created by providing accurate, up-to-date information, and may be subject to parental control in the case of Users under the age of 16.
Subscription
"Subscription" refers to a paid plan that grants the User access to specific content and services on the Platform for a designated period of time. Subscriptions can include different tiers, such as access to lessons, personalized feedback, and one-on-one tutoring, depending on the plan chosen. Subscriptions may auto-renew based on the billing cycle selected unless canceled by the User.
Services
"Services" refers to all the learning, teaching, and interactive experiences provided by Nevaani, including but not limited to access to lessons, worksheets, quizzes, one-on-one tutoring sessions, Tandem language practice, and cultural immersion content. The Services may also include customer support, account management, and any technical assistance provided through the Platform.
Personal Data
"Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual that is collected by Nevaani when Users create an account, interact with the platform, or subscribe to services. This may include, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, payment information, learning progress, and usage data. The collection, use, and protection of Personal Data are governed by Nevaani’s Privacy Policy.
Tutor
"Tutor" refers to the individual(s) providing personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions to Users on the Platform. Initially, this will include Ankit Verma, the platform’s founder, and additional tutors may be added as the Platform expands. Tutors provide guidance, feedback, and clarification in real-time sessions, helping Users improve their language proficiency.
Tandem Language Practice
"Tandem Language Practice" refers to 30-minute conversational sessions where Users practice speaking Hindi with a native speaker. Initially, this practice is provided by Ankit Verma, and additional native speakers may be added over time based on user demand. These sessions are designed to enhance the User’s speaking and comprehension skills in a real-world context.
Content
"Content" refers to all materials, including but not limited to lessons, worksheets, quizzes, audio files, videos, written articles, and cultural stories provided on the Platform. All Content is the property of Nevaani and is protected by copyright, and Users are granted limited access for personal learning purposes only.
Cultural Immersion
"Cultural Immersion" refers to the section of the Platform where Users can explore content about Indian culture, including articles, stories, and blog posts that focus on festivals, traditions, daily life, and other cultural aspects. This content is designed to enhance the User's understanding of the language within a cultural context.
Parent/Guardian
"Parent/Guardian" refers to the legally responsible individual who creates an account or subscribes to services on behalf of a User under the age of 16. The Parent/Guardian is responsible for managing the account and overseeing the use of Nevaani’s services by the minor.
Free Trial
"Free Trial" refers to the 14-day limited access period granted to new Users. During the Free Trial, Users can explore a restricted portion of the Platform’s Content and features, including access to the first two lessons of each section, placement tests, and the blog page. The Free Trial automatically expires at the end of the trial period unless the User upgrades to a paid subscription.
Progress Tracking
"Progress Tracking" refers to the feature on the Platform that allows Users to monitor their learning journey. This includes tracking lessons completed, quizzes taken, proficiency levels achieved, and overall performance throughout the learning process.
Certification
"Certification" refers to the acknowledgment awarded to Users upon successfully completing a designated set of lessons or proficiency levels. Certifications may be provided in digital form and indicate the User’s proficiency in the Hindi language as recognized by Nevaani.

Nevaani does not control and is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party service providers.
User-Generated Content
"User-Generated Content" refers to any content, such as comments, reviews, or other materials, that Users may submit, post, or share on the Platform. By submitting User-Generated Content, Users grant Nevaani the right to use, display, modify, or distribute such content as needed for the operation of the Platform. Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they post does not violate copyright, trademark, or other applicable laws.
Payment Processor
"Payment Processor" refers to third-party companies used by Nevaani to process payments securely for subscription services and purchases made through the platform. These processors may include, but are not limited to, Razorpay and other trusted financial service providers. Users are subject to the payment processors’ terms and conditions when completing transactions.
Refunds
"Refunds" refers to the return of funds to the User under specific conditions outlined in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refunds may be granted at Nevaani’s discretion if the criteria for refunds, as stated in the Refund Policy, are met. Refund requests must be made through official channels, and processing times may vary.
Microlearning
"Microlearning" refers to the method of delivering educational content in small, focused segments, allowing Users to absorb and retain information more effectively over short sessions. Nevaani utilizes this approach to break down complex language topics into manageable lessons that can be completed in short periods.
Placement Test
"Placement Test" refers to the assessments provided by Nevaani that help determine a User’s proficiency level at the start of their language-learning journey. The Placement Test results guide Users to the most appropriate level in the platform's curriculum, ensuring they begin at a point that matches their existing language skills.
Free Trial
"Free Trial" refers to the limited-time, no-cost access to certain features of the Nevaani platform. Users can explore the platform for a period of 14 days, gaining access to the first two lessons of all sections across all levels and other basic platform features. The Free Trial automatically expires unless upgraded to a paid subscription.
User Support
"User Support" refers to the customer service provided by Nevaani to assist Users with inquiries or issues regarding their accounts, subscriptions, lessons, or any technical difficulties. Support may be provided via email, phone, or other communication methods as outlined on the Platform.
Certification Criteria
"Certification Criteria" refers to the set of requirements a User must meet in order to receive a Nevaani Certification. Certification is typically awarded after successfully completing lessons, passing assessments, and achieving proficiency milestones as determined by the Platform.
Communication
"Communication" refers to all interactions between Nevaani and its Users, including but not limited to notifications, announcements, updates, support inquiries, or promotional messages sent via email, platform notifications, or other communication channels. Users consent to receive such communications as part of their use of the Platform, and they may manage their preferences through their Account settings.
Termination
"Termination" refers to Nevaani’s right to suspend or permanently disable a User’s access to the Platform and services in the event of a violation of these Terms and Conditions, illegal activities, or misuse of the platform. Termination may also occur if payment for subscription services is not received. Users will be notified of any such termination via email or other communication methods.
Liability
"Liability" refers to the extent of responsibility Nevaani assumes for any damages, losses, or issues Users may face while using the Platform. Nevaani limits its liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use or inability to use the Platform as per applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions.
Content License
"Content License" refers to the permission granted to Users to access, use, and interact with the educational materials on Nevaani for personal learning purposes only. Users are not permitted to distribute, reproduce, or share the content outside of the platform without explicit written permission from Nevaani.
Data Retention
"Data Retention" refers to the period during which Nevaani stores Users' personal data, including account information and learning progress. Nevaani retains data as long as necessary to provide services to the User or as required by law, after which data may be securely deleted or anonymized.
Governing Law
"Governing Law" refers to the set of legal principles that will govern the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions. Nevaani operates under Indian law and any disputes arising from the use of the platform will be handled in accordance with the laws of India.
User Feedback and Reviews
"User Feedback and Reviews" refers to any evaluations, opinions, or testimonials submitted by Users about their experience with Nevaani. By submitting such feedback, Users grant Nevaani the right to use, display, or publish the feedback on the platform or in promotional materials, ensuring anonymity unless explicitly permitted by the User.
Trial Period Limitations
"Trial Period Limitations" refers to the specific conditions and restrictions applied during the 14-day free trial. Users may have limited access to some content or features, such as restricted access to premium content, limited use of one-on-one tutoring, or exclusion from certain services that are reserved for paid subscribers.
Payment Terms
"Payment Terms" refers to the rules governing how Users are charged for subscriptions or services. Payments are processed through secure third-party providers, and any applicable fees, renewal charges, or payment failures are subject to these providers' terms and the User's subscription plan. All charges are made in the currency applicable at the time of the transaction.
Intellectual Property
"Intellectual Property" refers to the proprietary content, methods, and technology used within the Nevaani platform. All platform content, including lesson structures, proprietary learning methods, and cultural immersion tools, are protected under copyright and trademark laws. Users are not permitted to duplicate, reverse-engineer, or distribute this intellectual property without prior written consent.
Data Portability
"Data Portability" refers to the right of Users to request and receive a copy of their personal data in a machine-readable format. Users may also request that their data be transferred to another service provider, where technically feasible. This feature aligns with modern data protection regulations, ensuring users have control over their personal information.
Jurisdiction
"Jurisdiction" refers to the legal authority under which disputes arising from these Terms will be handled. Entire Agreement

Waiver

Severability

Mobile Application

The use of the Mobile Application will be governed by the same Terms and Conditions as the Website, including access to lessons, worksheets, tutoring sessions, and any features available in the mobile interface. Users may need to download updates or patches to maintain optimal performance, and Nevaani reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Mobile Application without notice.
Beta Testing
"Beta Testing" refers to the phase in which Nevaani offers Users early access to new features or updates that are not yet part of the general release. Users who participate in Beta Testing agree that these features may contain bugs, limitations, or inaccuracies. Nevaani does not guarantee the performance or availability of any features in Beta Testing and may withdraw or modify them at any time without notice. Users are encouraged to provide feedback during Beta Testing, which will help Nevaani improve the final release of the features. Participation in Beta Testing is voluntary, and Users may opt-out at any time.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
3.1. Eligibility
Access to the Nevaani platform is restricted to individuals who are at least 16 years of age. Users under the age of 16 are only permitted to use the platform with the consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By registering an account on Nevaani, Users confirm that they meet this age requirement or that their parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and Conditions on their behalf.
For Users under 16, the parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account on the child’s behalf, accepting full responsibility for the child’s use of the platform. Nevaani reserves the right to request proof of parental consent at any time to verify compliance with this policy.
Failure to comply with the eligibility requirements may result in the termination of the account and access to the platform, as per Nevaani’s account suspension and termination policies.
3.2. Account Creation
To create an account on the Nevaani platform, Users are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including a valid email address and a secure password. The email address will serve as the primary point of contact for the account and will be used for important notifications, password recovery, and account verification purposes. The password must meet Nevaani’s security standards, which may include a minimum character length and a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols to ensure the account’s safety.
For Users under the age of 16, parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory. Parents or guardians are responsible for creating the account on behalf of the minor, using their own information for account management. They must also actively supervise the minor’s use of the platform and accept full responsibility for the child’s activity on Nevaani. By creating an account for a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms and Conditions and ensures that the child uses the platform in accordance with all applicable policies.
The information provided during account creation must be truthful and up to date. Users are prohibited from creating accounts that impersonate other individuals or provide false information. Nevaani reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account if the information provided is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.
Once the account is created, Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential and secure.
3.3. Account Security
Users of the Nevaani platform are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials, including their email and password. It is crucial that Users take all necessary precautions to safeguard their account information and prevent unauthorized access. This includes using strong passwords, refraining from sharing login details with others, and regularly updating passwords to enhance security.
In the event that a User suspects or becomes aware of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security, they must notify Nevaani immediately. Failure to promptly report unauthorized activity may result in the suspension or termination of the account, and Nevaani shall not be liable for any losses incurred due to unauthorized access that is not reported in a timely manner.
Nevaani reserves the right to monitor accounts for suspicious activity and may take actions such as temporarily suspending the account until the matter is resolved. Users are advised to keep their contact information up to date so that Nevaani can reach them in the event of any security concerns.
3.4. User Obligations
Users of the Nevaani platform are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the account creation process and throughout their use of the platform. This includes but is not limited to providing correct personal details such as name, email address, and any other required information. Users are responsible for ensuring that their information remains current, and they must promptly update their account if any details change.
Users must not impersonate any individual, organization, or entity, or misrepresent their identity in any way. The creation of false or misleading accounts is strictly prohibited. This includes using another person’s name, email, or any other identifying information without proper authorization. Any attempt to create or use an account with fraudulent or inaccurate information will result in immediate suspension or termination of the account, at Nevaani’s discretion, and may lead to legal action if necessary.
Additionally, Users are expected to use the platform in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Nevaani reserves the right to monitor, review, and investigate any accounts suspected of violating these obligations.
4. Services Provided
4.1. Description of Services
Nevaani offers a range of comprehensive services to facilitate the learning of the Hindi language, making the learning experience both immersive and adaptable to different user needs. The services provided are designed to cater to learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students, with a combination of self-paced learning and personalized instruction.
a.) Access to Lessons, Worksheets, Quizzes, and Cultural Content
Nevaani provides Users with access to a vast library of Hindi lessons that cover essential language learning areas, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills. Each lesson is supported by worksheets and quizzes to reinforce learning and test comprehension. Additionally, Users can explore a variety of cultural content, such as articles, stories, and blog posts that delve into Indian traditions, festivals, and day-to-day cultural practices, enriching their understanding of the language within its cultural context.
Lessons are structured into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, ensuring that learners start at the appropriate level and progress in a step-by-step manner. Each level includes detailed explanations, interactive exercises, and real-world examples to help Users master the language.
b.) Subscription Plans for Language Learning
Nevaani offers subscription-based access to its services, allowing Users to choose from a variety of plans depending on their learning needs. Subscription options provide access to all core lessons, supplementary content such as quizzes and worksheets, and cultural materials. Based on the selected plan, Users may also gain access to additional features like personalized doubt resolution and one-on-one tutoring sessions.
Subscription plans vary in terms of duration (monthly or yearly), with different tiers offering varying degrees of access to lessons, personalized support, and practice sessions. Users are billed according to their chosen plan, and all payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors.
c.) One-on-One Tutoring Sessions
For learners seeking personalized guidance, Nevaani offers one-on-one tutoring sessions with professional tutors. These sessions allow Users to receive direct feedback on their learning, ask questions, and receive personalized instruction tailored to their needs. The tutoring sessions are flexible, with options for 25-minute or 50-minute durations. Tutors assist with specific language challenges, such as grammar clarification, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and conversational practice.
The tutoring sessions are conducted online through secure video or audio channels, ensuring that learners from anywhere in the world can access expert instruction.
d.) Access to Native Speakers for Practice
Nevaani provides opportunities for Users to practice their Hindi speaking skills with native speakers through the Tandem Method. Initially, these 30-minute conversational sessions are conducted with Ankit Verma, the platform’s founder and a fluent Hindi speaker. As the platform grows and user demand increases, additional native speakers will be added to the roster. These sessions are designed to give learners practical conversational experience, helping them develop fluency and confidence in real-world scenarios.
4.2. Service Availability
The services provided by Nevaani are subject to availability and may be affected by factors outside of Nevaani’s control, such as internet outages, maintenance activities, technical issues, or third-party service disruptions (e.g., payment processors, hosting services). While Nevaani endeavors to provide uninterrupted access to its platform and services, Nevaani makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the continuous or error-free operation of the platform.
Scheduled maintenance or updates may occasionally result in temporary unavailability of the services, and Nevaani will make reasonable efforts to notify Users of any planned service interruptions in advance, when feasible. Nevaani reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of its services, with or without notice, for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational requirements.
Users acknowledge that there may be occasions where the platform experiences downtime or interruptions and agree that Nevaani shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or inconveniences arising from such interruptions, whether planned or unplanned.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
5.1. Proper Use of Services
Users of the Nevaani platform are required to use the services provided strictly for educational purposes related to learning the Hindi language. The platform is designed to facilitate language acquisition through access to lessons, worksheets, quizzes, tutoring, and cultural immersion content. As such, Users must engage with the platform solely for the intended purpose of improving their language skills and gaining cultural understanding within the scope of the provided materials.
Any other use of the platform, including but not limited to, personal entertainment, business ventures unrelated to language learning, or other non-educational activities, is strictly prohibited. Users are expected to participate in the platform’s interactive and tutoring services in a respectful and professional manner, ensuring that their behavior aligns with the educational goals of Nevaani.
Nevaani reserves the right to monitor user activity to ensure that services are being used appropriately and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines. Failure to adhere to the proper use of services may also result in restricted access or the removal of certain privileges, as determined by Nevaani.
5.2. Prohibited Activities
Users of the Nevaani platform must adhere to all applicable laws and ethical standards when using the platform. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
No Illegal, Harmful, or Offensive Behavior: Users are prohibited from engaging in any activities that may be deemed illegal, harmful, or offensive while using the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, behaviors such as harassment, defamation, discrimination, or any other actions that may harm, intimidate, or offend other Users, tutors, or Nevaani staff. Respectful and professional conduct is required at all times when interacting with other Users or during one-on-one sessions.
No Uploading of Malicious Software: Users are strictly prohibited from uploading or distributing any malicious software, including but not limited to viruses, malware, spyware, Trojan horses, or any other harmful code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the platform, its servers, or other Users' data. Any attempt to compromise the integrity of the platform will result in immediate account termination and may lead to legal action.
No Infringement on Intellectual Property Rights: Users must respect the intellectual property rights of Nevaani and any third parties. This includes refraining from copying, distributing, or modifying any content provided on the platform without explicit permission. All lessons, worksheets, quizzes, cultural content, and any other materials on the platform are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws, and unauthorized use of these materials constitutes a violation of these laws.
No Reverse-Engineering or Decompiling of Platform Content or Technology: Users are prohibited from attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise tamper with any software, code, or technology used in the Nevaani platform. This includes any attempts to gain unauthorized access to the platform’s infrastructure, disrupt its functionality, or extract source code for personal or commercial use. Such actions are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination and possible legal consequences.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Platform Content
All content available on the Nevaani platform, including but not limited to lessons, quizzes, videos, worksheets, cultural articles, audio files, and any other educational materials, is the exclusive property of Nevaani. These materials are protected by copyright laws and other intellectual property rights, both domestically and internationally. Nevaani retains full ownership of all platform content, and no part of these materials may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or transmitted in any form without express written permission from Nevaani.
By accessing the platform, Users acknowledge that the content is provided for personal educational use only and that any attempt to copy, share, or distribute these materials outside the platform, without prior authorization, constitutes a violation of Nevaani’s intellectual property rights. Unauthorized use of the platform’s content may result in immediate account suspension or termination and could lead to further legal action to protect Nevaani’s proprietary assets.
6.2. Limited License

This license allows Users to interact with the platform’s content—such as lessons, quizzes, worksheets, videos, and cultural materials—exclusively for their individual learning and in accordance with the platform’s intended educational goals.
This license does not grant Users any ownership rights over the content. Users may not download, modify, distribute, reproduce, publicly display, or use any content from the platform for any purpose beyond personal educational use, unless they receive prior written consent from Nevaani. Any attempt to commercialize or distribute the platform's content for purposes outside of personal learning is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of the platform’s Terms and Conditions.
Nevaani reserves the right to revoke this license at any time, with or without notice, in the event of a violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform. Upon termination of the license, Users must cease all access to and use of the platform’s content.
6.3. User-Generated Content
By submitting any content to the Nevaani platform, including but not limited to forum posts, reviews, comments, or any other form of user submissions (collectively referred to as "User-Generated Content"), Users grant Nevaani a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, and transferable license to use, modify, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform such content. This license allows Nevaani to utilize User-Generated Content for the purposes of promoting, operating, improving, and enhancing the platform, as well as for marketing, instructional, or other promotional uses at Nevaani’s discretion.
Users acknowledge that any content they submit becomes the property of Nevaani to use within these limits, and by submitting such content, Users represent and warrant that they own or have all necessary rights to the content and that their submission does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal obligations.
Users are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the content they upload or post on the platform. Any content that is found to violate laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, or otherwise breach these Terms and Conditions may be removed at Nevaani’s discretion, and the User’s account may be subject to suspension or termination.
Nevaani assumes no responsibility for monitoring User-Generated Content but reserves the right to review, edit, or delete any submissions that do not comply with the platform’s standards or applicable laws.

7.2. Payment Methods
All payments made on the Nevaani platform are securely processed through third-party payment processors, such as Razorpay and other authorized payment gateways. These processors handle the collection and processing of payment information, ensuring that all transactions are carried out in compliance with industry-standard encryption and security protocols. Nevaani does not store Users’ payment details directly; instead, payment information is securely managed by the third-party processor.
When subscribing to a paid plan, Users agree to provide valid and up-to-date payment information, including but not limited to credit card, debit card, or other authorized payment methods accepted by the platform. By submitting payment information, Users authorize Nevaani to charge the subscription fees associated with the selected plan, as well as any applicable taxes or fees, according to the billing cycle chosen (e.g., monthly or yearly).
Users are responsible for ensuring that their payment information remains accurate and current. Nevaani reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform in the event that payment is declined, expired, or invalid. Nevaani may also work with third-party payment processors to resolve any payment disputes or issues.
By using the platform’s services, Users agree to the terms and conditions of the third-party payment processor and acknowledge that any claims regarding payment disputes will be handled in accordance with those terms.
7.3. Billing Cycle
All subscription plans offered by Nevaani are based on either a monthly or yearly billing cycle, depending on the plan selected by the User during the registration process. Upon subscribing, the User agrees to be charged in advance for the applicable subscription fee, as well as any relevant taxes or fees, on the first day of the billing period.
For monthly subscriptions, Users will be billed on a recurring basis every 30 days from the date of their initial purchase. Similarly, for yearly subscriptions, billing will occur on the anniversary of the initial purchase each year. The subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled by the User in accordance with Nevaani’s cancellation policy.
The billing date will remain consistent with the original sign-up date for the duration of the subscription unless there are changes made to the subscription (e.g., plan upgrades, downgrades, or billing adjustments). Any changes to the subscription that affect the billing cycle will take effect on the next billing date, and Users will be notified accordingly.
If payment is not received on the scheduled billing date, Nevaani reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User’s access to the platform until the outstanding balance is resolved. Users will be notified of any payment issues and given an opportunity to update their payment information.
7.4. Changes to Pricing
Nevaani reserves the right to modify or adjust the pricing of its subscription plans and services at any time. Any such changes to the pricing structure will be communicated to Users in advance. Nevaani will provide Users with reasonable notice of any price increases, typically via email or through prominent notifications on the platform.
For Users currently subscribed to a plan, any changes to the pricing will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle after the notification period has passed. This allows Users the opportunity to review the changes and, if necessary, adjust or cancel their subscription before the new pricing is applied.
Users who continue to use the platform after the new pricing has taken effect will be deemed to have accepted the price changes. If a User does not agree with the updated pricing, they are encouraged to cancel their subscription before the end of their current billing cycle to avoid being charged the new rate.
7.5. Failed Payments
In the event that a payment fails for any reason—such as an expired card, insufficient funds, or any issue with the payment method provided—Nevaani will make reasonable efforts to notify the User of the failed payment. This notification may include an email, platform alert, or other form of communication advising the User to update their payment information.
If the payment issue is not resolved promptly, Nevaani reserves the right to take the following actions:
Temporary Suspension of Account: If the failed payment is not rectified within a specified period, the User’s access to the platform and its services may be temporarily suspended. During this period, Users will not be able to access any paid content, including lessons, worksheets, quizzes, or tutoring sessions, until the payment is successfully processed.
Continued Payment Attempts: Nevaani may attempt to reprocess the payment automatically within a reasonable time frame following the initial failure. Users are encouraged to update their payment details as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions in service.
Termination of Subscription: If the payment remains unresolved for an extended period, Nevaani reserves the right to terminate the User’s subscription and close the account. Users will lose access to all subscription-based content, and any accumulated learning progress tied to the account may be inaccessible.
Reactivation Upon Payment: Upon successful completion of the payment, the User’s account and access to all paid services will be immediately reinstated. Any content or services previously available under the active subscription will resume as normal.
It is the User’s responsibility to ensure that their payment information is accurate and up to date. Nevaani will not be held responsible for any disruption in service caused by failed payments.
8. Free Trial Terms
8.1. Duration
The Nevaani platform offers a 14-day free trial to all new Users. This trial period begins immediately upon registration and provides Users with access to a limited set of features to explore the platform and evaluate its resources. During the free trial, Users can access the first two lessons of each section across all proficiency levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced), as well as the Placement Test and blog content.
The free trial period is offered once per User, and at the end of the 14 days, the trial will expire unless the User chooses to upgrade to a paid subscription. Users will not be required to enter payment details to initiate the free trial, ensuring that no charges will be applied unless the User voluntarily selects and subscribes to a paid plan after the trial period concludes.
8.2. Conversion to Paid Subscription
At the conclusion of the 14-day free trial, Users will be given the option to continue using the Nevaani platform by selecting one of the available paid subscription plans. During the free trial, Users will not be required to provide any payment information, ensuring that no automatic charges will be applied at the end of the trial period.
Once the free trial period expires, access to the platform will be restricted, and Users will no longer be able to engage with the lessons, worksheets, quizzes, or any other content available to paid subscribers. To continue accessing the platform and its features, Users must actively choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
Nevaani will notify Users before the end of the free trial to remind them of the upcoming expiration and provide instructions on how to select a subscription plan to avoid interruptions in service. If a User decides not to upgrade to a paid plan, no charges will be applied, and the account will revert to a limited state with access only to the homepage, pricing page, and blog content.
8.3. Limitations
During the 14-day free trial on the Nevaani platform, Users will have access to a limited selection of the platform’s full features and content. Specifically, free trial Users are restricted to the following:
Limited Access to Lessons: Free trial Users can access the first two lessons of each section across all proficiency levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). The complete library of lessons and advanced sections will remain locked and available only to paid subscribers.
No One-on-One Tutoring: Free trial Users do not have access to one-on-one tutoring sessions with tutors or native speakers. Personalized tutoring and conversation practice is a feature reserved for paid subscription plans.
Limited Features and Content: While free trial Users can take the Placement Test and explore some cultural content via the blog page, certain premium features, such as personalized doubt resolution, detailed quizzes, and cultural immersion materials, are restricted to paid subscribers.
No Access to Premium Plans: Free trial Users will not have access to features included in premium plans, such as personalized doubt clarification or enhanced feedback on lessons and exercises.
The free trial is designed to give Users an introductory experience of the platform, and full functionality will be unlocked upon subscribing to a paid plan.
9. Cancellation and Termination of Services
9.1. User Cancellation
Users of the Nevaani platform can cancel their subscription at any time without incurring additional fees. To initiate the cancellation process, Users may take the following steps:
Cancellation via Account Settings: Users can cancel their subscription directly through their account settings on the platform. To do so, they must log into their account, navigate to the Account Settings or Subscription section, and select the Cancel Subscription option. The platform will guide them through the necessary steps to confirm the cancellation. Upon successful cancellation, the subscription will not renew, and the User will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing cycle.
Cancellation by Contacting Support: Alternatively, Users may choose to cancel their subscription by contacting Nevaani’s Customer Support Team. To do this, Users can send a cancellation request via email to support@nevaani.com or use the contact form on the website. The Customer Support Team will process the cancellation request within a reasonable timeframe and confirm the termination of the subscription.
Please note that Users will continue to have access to paid content and services until the current billing period concludes, after which their access will revert to the free version of the platform, with limitations on content and features. Nevaani does not offer refunds for unused time within the current billing cycle unless specified in the platform’s Refund and Cancellation Policy.
9.2. Nevaani Termination
Nevaani reserves the right to terminate or suspend a User’s account at its sole discretion if the User violates any of the platform’s Terms and Conditions or engages in behavior that is illegal, harmful, or disruptive to the platform and its community. Termination or suspension may occur with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation. The grounds for termination include but are not limited to the following:
Illegal Activity: Any involvement in illegal activities while using the platform, such as unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials, fraud, identity theft, or other unlawful acts, will result in immediate account termination. Nevaani will cooperate with legal authorities in any investigation related to illegal activities conducted on the platform.
Breach of Terms: Violations of Nevaani’s Terms and Conditions, such as unauthorized sharing of platform content, attempts to reverse-engineer the platform, malicious software uploads, infringement of intellectual property rights, or harassment of other Users or tutors, constitute grounds for account termination.
Harmful or Offensive Behavior: Engaging in harmful, offensive, or disruptive behavior, including harassment, defamation, discrimination, or any actions that threaten the safety or well-being of other Users or tutors, will result in immediate account termination.
Payment Disputes or Fraud: Providing false or fraudulent payment information, repeated failed payment attempts, or engaging in disputes without valid cause may lead to account suspension or termination.
In the event of termination, the User will lose access to all paid content and services immediately. Nevaani is not responsible for refunding any unused portion of the subscription following a termination for cause. Depending on the nature of the violation, Nevaani may pursue legal action where applicable.
9.3. Effect of Termination
Upon termination of a User's account, whether by User request or by Nevaani due to a violation of the Terms & Conditions, the following effects will apply:
Loss of Access to Paid Services and Content: Once an account is terminated, the User will immediately lose access to all paid services and any associated content that was part of their subscription. This includes lessons, worksheets, quizzes, cultural materials, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and any other content exclusive to paid subscription plans. The User’s access will revert to the limited free version of the platform, if available, or be fully deactivated in cases of severe violations.
Stored Data: Upon termination, Nevaani may retain the User's personal data and account information in accordance with the platform’s Privacy Policy and applicable data retention laws. However, access to stored data, such as progress reports, learning history, and completed lessons, will no longer be available to the User. If applicable, Users may request the deletion of their personal data by contacting Nevaani, and such requests will be handled in accordance with the User Rights outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Paid Subscription Fees: Nevaani does not provide refunds for any unused portion of the subscription period if the account is terminated due to a violation of the Terms & Conditions. Any fees paid in advance for the current billing cycle will be forfeited, and no further charges will be made unless the User reinstates their account by rectifying the issue or resubscribing in the future. However, if the termination is requested by the User without cause, access will continue until the end of the current billing period, but no refunds for the remaining time will be provided.
Future Use of the Platform: Depending on the severity of the violation that led to the termination, Nevaani reserves the right to restrict future access to the platform. In cases of repeated violations or illegal activity, the User may be permanently banned from re-registering on the platform.
10. Refunds and Cancellation Policy
10.1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds for paid subscriptions on the Nevaani platform are available under certain conditions, as outlined in the platform’s detailed Refund and Cancellation Policy. The refund eligibility varies based on the specific plan the User subscribes to. Below are the conditions for different plans:
Comprehensive Tutoring Plan & Focused Fluency Sessions: If a User is dissatisfied with their first tutoring or fluency session and decides not to continue, they may request a refund after completing the first session. Refund requests must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after the first session and will only apply if the User chooses to discontinue the plan entirely after that session. Refunds will not be granted for any subsequent lessons or sessions.
Complete Hindi Mastery, Expert Doubt Resolution Plan, and One-on-One Mastery Plus Plans: For these plans, refunds are only applicable if the User cancels their subscription within a 7-day grace period from the date of the initial payment. Refunds will not be provided after the grace period expires, and Users will continue to have access to the platform until the end of the current billing cycle, even after cancellation.
Accidental Charges: Refunds may also be provided in cases where a User has been accidentally charged multiple times or where a payment was processed in error. Users must notify Nevaani of the accidental charge within a reasonable timeframe, and the refund will be processed upon verification of the error.

11.3.Failure to Attend a Scheduled Lesson
If a User fails to attend a lesson without prior cancellation or rescheduling within the allotted time, the lesson will be considered completed, and the associated credit or hour will be deducted from their plan. No refunds or make-up sessions will be offered for missed lessons unless there is a technical issue caused by the platform or tutor that prevents the lesson from proceeding as scheduled.

This Terms and Conditions Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By using the Nevaani platform, Users agree that any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to this agreement, including the interpretation, enforcement, or breach of these Terms, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Users are encouraged to provide a written statement outlining their complaint or claim, and Nevaani will respond with appropriate measures aimed at resolving the issue without escalation.
Mediation: If the issue cannot be resolved through informal negotiations within a reasonable timeframe (typically 30 days), either party may request that the matter be submitted to mediation. Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process where an independent mediator assists both parties in reaching a mutually agreeable resolution. The mediation process will take place in Gurugram, Haryana, India, unless both parties agree to an alternate location. The cost of mediation will be shared equally by both parties unless otherwise agreed.
Arbitration: If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, the issue may then proceed to binding arbitration. Arbitration is a formal process in which an arbitrator, acting as a neutral third party, renders a decision that is legally binding on both parties. The arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 or any amendments thereto. The arbitrator’s decision will be final, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

Any litigation proceedings will be initiated in the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India, and Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
Users acknowledge that any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved using the steps outlined above and that arbitration or mediation will be the preferred methods for resolving issues unless otherwise specified.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
The services provided by Nevaani are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties or representations of any kind. This means that Nevaani does not make any guarantees regarding the outcome or success of using the platform’s educational content, including, but not limited to, language fluency, proficiency improvements, or any specific learning milestones.
While Nevaani strives to offer high-quality content and instructional tools to facilitate language learning, the platform does not warrant that the services will meet every User’s individual expectations or goals, nor does it guarantee specific results. Learning outcomes depend on various factors, including User dedication, practice, and external circumstances, all of which are beyond Nevaani's control.
Additionally, Nevaani does not warrant that:
The platform’s services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of technical issues.
Any bugs, defects, or technical problems will be corrected immediately.
The content provided will always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date, though efforts are made to maintain quality.
By using the platform, Users acknowledge and accept that Nevaani does not offer any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Users are encouraged to utilize the platform with realistic expectations and understand that their language learning experience may vary.

16.2. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nevaani shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use, or inability to use, the platform or any content or services provided by Nevaani. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or any other form of financial loss resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
Nevaani will not be liable for any damages resulting from:
User reliance on content or services provided by the platform.
Technical issues or interruptions in service, such as server downtime, errors, or security breaches.
Inaccuracies or omissions in the content provided, including lessons, worksheets, quizzes, or other educational resources.
Third-party services used in conjunction with the platform (e.g., payment processors, social media logins).
Users acknowledge that their use of the platform is at their own risk, and Nevaani’s total liability for any claims arising out of the use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User for the subscription plan during the 12-month period preceding the claim.

Any unauthorized use of the platform, including illegal activities, intellectual property infringements, defamation, or violations of the rights of others, will require the User to indemnify Nevaani against any legal claims that arise from such actions.
User's content submissions: If the platform allows for User-generated content (e.g., forum posts, reviews, comments), the User agrees to indemnify Nevaani against any claims or damages resulting from the content they submit. Users must ensure that any content they post complies with applicable laws, is free from defamatory or infringing material, and does not violate third-party rights.
Nevaani reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which Users are required to indemnify the platform. In such cases, Users agree to cooperate fully with Nevaani’s defense of the claim.
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination or expiration of the User’s account and access to the platform.
18. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
Nevaani shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations or providing services due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These unforeseen events, also known as Force Majeure events, include but are not limited to:
Natural Disasters: Events such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, fires, or any other natural calamities that prevent Nevaani from delivering its services.
Internet or Communication Outages: Major disruptions in internet services, communication networks, or power outages that limit or prevent access to the platform or its features.
Governmental or Legal Actions: Any governmental actions, regulations, or laws, including but not limited to sanctions, bans, or regulatory restrictions, that interfere with the platform’s ability to operate normally.
Pandemics or Public Health Emergencies: Any large-scale health crises, such as pandemics, that disrupt normal operations due to restrictions, safety measures, or employee unavailability.
In the event of a Force Majeure situation, Nevaani will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact and resume normal service as soon as possible. However, Users acknowledge that such disruptions are beyond Nevaani’s control, and Nevaani is not liable for any delays, interruptions, or inability to provide services during these events. To use the Nevaani platform, Users must be at least 16 years of age. For Users under the age of 16, parental or guardian consent is required for access to the platform and its services. Nevaani is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of younger Users, and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, parents or legal guardians acknowledge that they are granting permission for their child to use the platform under their supervision.
